The Spirit of Pure Riding !

RoadCaptain.one was born from the desire to give the passion for biking a solid and professional framework - and to spend even more time in the saddle.
As a photographer and producer, I spent many years traveling the world, exploring extraordinary roads and locations in Europe, Africa, and the USA for film and photo shoots for renowned automobile and motorcycle brands.
The experience and skills I gained in scouting, navigation, and organization have proven invaluable in recent years while leading motorcycle groups.
I am neither a certified tour guide nor a riding instructor - but traveling and riding have become my greatest passion.
As we all know, a passion for motorcycles can bring together the most diverse people and personalities. That’s a wonderful thing - and we hope that never changes.
However, the willingness to compromise among bikers doesn’t always have to be stretched to its limits.
RoadCaptain.one is aimed at bikers who might normally never join a guided tour, because they prefer riding solo or with their soulmates, rather than following the mainstream.
That’s how the general concept and the idea of our Challenges and CustomSpecials came to life.
The Challenges are strictly for confident, experienced corner chasers and long-distance riders with a never-ending bucket list of unfinished business.
The CustomSpecials are exclusive events for petrolheads and nerds with extraordinary bikes.
Herd-minded individualists and off-the-shelf machines are not allowed here. Recognized modern classics, of course, are always welcome. Both formats can also be combined.
Those who don’t identify with these categories are always welcome to join our regular tours.
However, basically It’s all about Pure Riding – stripped down, no ballast, no frills.
The freedom we feel on two wheels comes from ditching all the unnecessary crap and, if need be, stepping out of that oh-so-precious comfort zone.
Remember the good old days? No top cases, no Gore-Tex space suits, no heated seats or other high-tech gadgets. When you had to gas up or take a leak, you just gave a hand signal – instead of wasting half the morning trying to get your damn Sena or Cardo to pair…
But hey, we don’t want to roll back to the Stone Age either. ABS has saved more than a few hides, and the GPS has led us to places that used to be just blank spots on our map.
That said – gear junkies, posers, sunshine riders, and complainers with the all-inclusive-package-tourist mindset, please don’t take it personally, but you might be happier elsewhere.
Same goes for anyone expecting cultural sightseeing with scheduled monastery tours, or looking to get their butt powdered and their luggage carried along the way – wrong place, wrong crowd. And don’t get us wrong: no judgment. Everyone’s got different tastes and expectations, and there’s plenty of offers out there to suit them.
Our mindset, though, is a different one. For us, it’s always about the ride.
Yes, we too appreciate stylish hotels, good food, and relaxing evenings at a cozy basecamp after an epic day on the road.
But there might be times when the route or riding experience takes precedence over a hotel’s star rating. Wherever we end up at night, in the end, it’s the shared adventure and team spirit that truly matters.
Anyway - riding in linen or leather - from a legal standpoint, we are classified as a tour operator and subject to the same laws and liabilities as large providers like Neckermann or TUI. That’s why we have to provide formalities like terms and conditions, rules of conduct, liability waivers, etc.
The upside for you: All payments for the tour are legally protected by a so-called insolvency protection certificate from the moment you sign up. So you can relax and focus on the ride.
That’s the rough idea and spirit behind what we do. If that resonates with you — we’d love to have you with us on one of our tours.
