This tour stretches almost entirely across the east-west expanse of Andalusia. We travel between the

Mediterranean and the Atlantic, mostly in the southern provinces, through the Sierras and coastal

regions.

A total of 12 riding days will take us to the most important hotspots that every biker should see on a

trip through Andalusia. We move from sea level up to the highest mountains of the Iberian Peninsula.

Anything is possible – from swimming in the sea to a snowball fight in the mountains.

After receiving our bikes on the day of arrival, we start on day 2 with a roundtrip from our base hotel in

the Málaga region. This first day of riding gives us a chance to get in sync on the little-trafficked roads

of the surrounding Sierras before heading out to new destinations with changing hotels.

Coming down from the mountains, we are already treated to a breathtaking view of Africa and the

Rock of Gibraltar in the afternoon of the second riding day. Our stage destination is Tarifa – the

southernmost point we will reach on our journey.

Following the Atlantic coast, our next stage soon takes us back into the mountains. After another

overnight stay and countless curves, we head back to our base hotel in Málaga. A full day of rest allows

for a flexible program. It’s a good opportunity to check bikes and luggage. Of course, there is also the

option of a guided or solo ride in the surrounding area.

The next day we heading east! Along dreamlike mountain routes and scenic landscapes, we head after

another overnight stay at the coast into a completely different Andalusia.

The desert of Tabernas, Cabo de Gata and other highlights await us.

We’ll spend the next 2 nights at a base hotel, which gives us enough time to explore the area the next

day without luggage – perhaps following in the footsteps of Sergio Leone or Indiana Jones. There's

plenty of road to cover, but we might also just end up chilling in one of the many beach bars in the

afternoon...

The next section of our journey leads us further inland. On our way to the desert of Gorafe, we will pass

Sierra de Baza, if not seasonal snow will force us to choose an alternative route.

But before this day ends, we’ll experience the unforgetable magic of the Gorafe desert at dusk.

Our next day destination is the Natural Park of Cazorla. Scenically this is the absolute opposite

from what we saw the day before. After an epic day on the road a comfortable hotel awaits us.

From there the next day we’ll slowly close the circle of our tour, finally heading through lonely winding

roads toward the peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

Depending on the weather and our adventurous spirit, we may venture up the highest paved road on

the Spanish mainland to the foot of the 3,479m-high Mulhacén – or we might decide to head straight

to our hotel in Granada and enjoy some tapas in cosy warmth.

However we choose – Granada will welcome us that evening, before we head off on our final, relaxed

stage back to our base hotel in Málaga the next day, where we'll wrap up our journey with a shared

farewell dinner and look back on the experiences of the past days.
